The little seeds of the flax are packed full good things, including a fixed oil, mucilage, proteins, and crude fibre.

Flax has a long history of use as both a food and as a textile crop across cultures. The species is native to cooler regions in eastern Mediterranean Europe and parts of the Middle East, Western Asia, and India.

We use the seed for its soothing and slippery qualities in Triphala Plus and Daily Fibre Plus.
